May seem like a thing of woe,
But today after all these years,
Kindness grows amid so many tears.
Today to live as bhai bhai,
We must bond all Sikhs, Isais,
All brothers and sisters of varied blood,
There is great joy in knowing the deed
That feeds compassion, and protects all kind
Because in the end we are all humankind.
