An Ode to My Father

My father from heaven
Across the Buddha worlds:
With no greed for money
Or for gold; with honey
Running through your
Xylem and Phloem
You fill Immortal Earth
With radiance; wishing you
The happiest birthday
Today! The cake you
Cut is whole today!
Are you giving me a piece
Or the whole cake?
Or are you loving me
No matter what!
The holes in the grounds
That animals, we have dug
Are to lay eggs
For a smooth birth?
Where are your eggs?
Sixty or more;
My father dearest
How you never boast!
Most humble, most kind,
Most loving of humanity:
Humane Justice
As the Law prevails!
My father from
Heaven or across
The universe
You give us life!
Are you a son of God?
All God's children:
All of us! Where is Satin?
It's in the silkworm!
And also in the holy
Mugwort! The kindness
That the Panthers have shown
And all the lovely work
Gardeners have done!
How do we bestow them
With favour? But with
Pots of honey unlimited!
Are you a bear that
Seeks honey, my father
From across the Universe?
Or are you solely in heaven
Where learning has disappeared?
Let's rise above this mundane
World! Use your common sense
Dear father, let's seek the honey
Now! And gift everybody lots of honey
For some money, or may be dirty gold
Or for a watch! Or for a lovely life
Or for eternity on immortal
Earth! The watchtowers
Glisten; no bloodshed ever again!
For the Great Dharma is now
Spewed from Shylock's tongue?
Dear Father, why is your hair so straight
And smooth? What is shampoo Father?
That's the only doubt I have now!
For your lovely love for rigtheous good!
I seek your coccoon! For now I am a mugwort! Seeking my abode
As I tread this world! Will you tread with me? Or collect pots of honey
Like a bear! Oh, lover of good God!
My father, who treads across
The universe: prosperity prevails
As icy winds blow as I tread the
Universe as a Mugwort in your
Coccoon? Will you let me leave
The coccoon and fly now?
There's no death father!
You can let me go!
Happy birthday dad,
Lover of life and love:
Time is all we have,
Space is all we are
And love is all that flows
Through us! I've left
The coccoon, Father dearest!
Happy birthday dad:
Eat the whole cake
This day!
