Kill me no more (A short story by Doel Sengupta)

The word kill fell on a saw
And then it saw demo daw;
In the middle of the blazing noon
We stood and stared at the moon;
The doors all flared
The sun was dark
Life for love
And like a hark;
The larks all laughed
The beautiful dance
And soon a happy birthday song;
For when birth is given
I loved you
You are my shona cute;
Your smell is so sweet,
You are so beautiful
Like a reigning Emperor,
Like a sweet mule,
My sweet Emperor of everything
Today I gift you the Universe!
Happy birthday!
