karma

As the sun rises and the waters flow

So does my karma with all its slough, 

I take a vow to never disparage anyone, 

With my chant of the ever-sonorous

Nam myo ho renge kyo;

My mentor watches from holy eagle peak

And I awaken in the moonshaft

Sometimes, in the sunshaft at other times ;

As the planets shine and the stars twinkle

I keep myself afloat in this river of eternal life;

My mentor never leaves me with his watchful eye, 

My heart his! Nam Myo Ho renge kyo!
