What should we do in our cozy and comfortable homes?

By Doel Sengupta
Dedicated to Rudrashish Sengupta and Momom and Spaan
It may be dusty, it may be neat,
It may be clean or full of messy
Geyser heat...
The beds could be hard,
Or you could sink into them
And around the home
The linen could get
Exchanged....
The tea could be watery or full
And the soup could be
Thick or pulled
But as long as our homes
Are safe from criminals
And invite people
Like good eyes
And top notch honcho men
And we eat well
And sleep weĺl
And work well...
As long as it is
Like that
We could stay in our
Cozy comfortable homes.
Cozy is as cozy gets...
Our homes and hearths
Our palaces nest...
Our birds and creatures
Hop around and soon
Buddy days
Make an awful sound
As the thieves
And criminals
Lie around dead
The cops
Save our cozy
Comfortable homes
Our palaces
At best.
